Privacy & Confidentiality

We care about privacy and are fully committed to the appropriate handling of individual information entrusted to us. We understand the importance of proprietary information being treated as confidential. Upon request, a non-disclosure agreement can be signed in order to assure the confidentiality of your documents. No information is ever released to any person or entity that is not bound by our non-disclosure agreement.

The 'Small Print' in clear and simple terms

ORDERING
→ A purchase order (or confirmation email) is required from you prior to work starting: this shall constitute a contract. It should indicate the nature of the work to be undertaken, the budget, payment methods, and any deadline.
CREATIVE BRIEF
→ You may choose to provide a written, detailed brief for the work to be undertaken, or rely upon verbal briefing. In the case of a verbal briefing, you accept responsibility for any ambiguities that may arise and consequently be reflected in the work produced, and for any additional costs incurred in re-writing the copy accordingly.
REVISIONS
→ Up to two revisions are included at no extra charge, unless the revision is based on a change in the assignment made after the copy is submitted.
→ All revisions must be assigned within 30 days of your receipt of the first draft copy. After that, any additional rewrite may be made at a fee to be negotiated separately from this agreement.
CANCELLATION
→ If the project is terminated for any reason after the work is completed, the translator/copywriter is entitled to full payment of the agreed fee. If terminated while the work is still in progress, you will be billed for the work completed up to that point.
PAYMENTS TERMS
→ Half the project fee is required in advance and the balance is payable on completion of the project, unless otherwise agreed in advance in writing, or unless you are an established client.
In the latter instance, all fees, charges and disbursements are strictly payable within 30 days of receipt of the invoice (please note that for larger projects, a 30% deposit of the total agreed price is payable up front).
LATE PAYMENTS
→ We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts in accordance with the terms set out in the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as amended and supplemented by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002.
COPYRIGHTS
→ The copyright and intellectual property rights for any work commissioned by any agency or client will be retained by the copywriter, unless specifically requested to be assigned elsewhere for a fee.
CAVEATS
→ We will not be liable to the client for any loss of profits, consequential, economic, or indirect loss arising in any way in connection with the performance (or non performance) of the obligations related to any commission.
